(What can life be likened to?

It is like the swan when it touches down on the melting snow.)

There it happens to leave its footprint transiently.

Then off it flies, no one knows it going to the east, or to the west.

(The old monks have passed away and are interred in their stupas.

On the dilapidated wall we can no longer discern our poems written there.

Do you still remember the old mountain trail?

The passage was long, we found it impassible, and the lame donkey brayed.)
